Coffee addict, UX strategist + designer. Loves Apple...hates olives.

Hi, I’m Wendy

About me

I am a UX & Product Designer based in San Diego, CA.

I began my career in design at Scholastic, Inc. Working closely with schools and educators, my team worked on refining print and online resources to create a fun and interactive learning experience for kids. After leaving the publishing industry, I joined the March of Dimes, a non-profit dedicated to helping babies survive and thrive regardless of socio economic circumstances, giving all babies the chance for a healthy start. There, I led the design team in branded efforts across print, social and web, creating cohesive end-to-end experiences for prospective and existing participants joining the mission under the March for Babies campaign. Following the March of Dimes, I worked for creative agencies, Butterjam and Wondros, focused on digital products, UI and UX design, landing page strategy, design thinking, and advocating for users’ needs. At Wondros, I worked on the All of Us Research program, owned by the NIH, with a focus to transform healthcare into a much more inclusive and diverse database to more accurately reflect our nation, to provide better healthcare based on their data.

What I’m up to now

I am currently at CVS Health, where I focus on improving the health care experience by making it easier and more intuitive for individuals to find a provider and schedule care for themselves or their loved ones. Partnering closely with product, clinical, research, and engineering teams, I design digital solutions that deliver smart, personalized health insights, resources, and services — putting meaningful care directly at our customers’ fingertips.

During my down time I thrive on creative projects designing websites, mobile apps, logos, brand identities and anything that allows me to stretch my right brain muscles. Outside of work I enjoy tennis, paddleboarding, hiking, biking and trying new places to eat. I have 2 children who keep my husband and I on our toes. When we hear mischievous giggles somewhere in the house, we know they are up to no good. 😂

Creative problem solving and human-centered design are the focus of what I do. My goal (and role) is to come alongside my clients to create strong strategy, compelling design and delightful experiences. Let’s go!
